About Dr. Michelle McOsker
Michelle has been a speech-language pathologist since 2017. She is licensed in Missouri and Kansas and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Michelle furthered her education by completing a Doctorate of Education in 2022, which she used to teach as a university professor for two years.
Michelle brings with her professional experience from multiple settings in education and healthcare, including elementary schools, a high school, Missouri state schools, hospitals, a community-based stroke group, and other private practices. She emphasizes affirmation of neurodiversity, teaching of self-advocacy skills, and practice skill focus in therapy sessions. Working with Michelle means you will join a collaborative partnership with her as she aims to address your child's speech and language needs in a way that centers your goals and values.
Outside of her work as a speech-language pathologist, Michelle spends her time watching roller derby, loving on her cat, Ferdinand, and learning Norwegian.
